Florida Seafood Festival is the State's Oldest Maritime Exhibit. This year's event was held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Apalachicola, Florida. The Florida Forestry State Queens India Lorene Hatcher (Teen Miss), Kayla Blair Prowant (Junior Miss), Haley Nicole Robertson (Little Miss), Krista Laureal Fuller (Miss Hospitality), Skylah Rayliene Obee (Forestry's "Top Model of the Year") along with Hayleigh Ming (Junior Miss Franklin County Forestry), Azaleah Johnson (Florida Palm Miss Hospitaslity) & Alicia Hatcher (Miss Florida Palm) attended this event in the scenic historic town at the mouth of the Apalachicola River. The festival features delicious seafood, arts and crafts exhibits, seafood related events and displays under the shady oaks of Apalachicola's Battery Park. Some of the events include oyster eating, oyster shucking, a parade, a 5k Redfish Run and a Blessing of the Fleet.
